Oregon's football players weren't the only ones rocking new Nike "retro" uniforms during Thursday night's 43-15 win over Cal.
The Ducks' mascot, Puddles, also had a custom jersey with one tiny change: Where the shoulder pads of the players' jerseys featured the mascot's face, the shoulder of Puddles' jersey came with a silhouette of Oregon coach Chip Kelly, complete with visor.
It's unfortunate we can't read the front of the jersey to see if the "Fighting Ducks" text on the front of the player jerseys was replaced with the "Fighting Chip Kellys."
Either way, well played, Nike. Well played.
