The Stream Team earned its fourth straight quality outing on Sunday, as Tommy Hunter allowed two runs in six innings against the Mariners. He wasn't able to come up with a win, so we're still stuck on four wins for the month of September. Rick Porcello makes his first Stream Team appearance of the year on Monday.Unlike Porcello, Tuesday's streamer needs no introduction. We've picked him four times since the trade that brought him to St. Louis, and we're taking him again when he faces the Pirates on Tuesday. I'm talking about Jake Westbrook.
We streamed Westbrook in his last start against the Padres, and he delivered with eight innings of shutout ball and the win. It was the eighth time in nine starts since his trade that he's posted a quality start, and that one outlier came in Pittsburgh against the same team he'll face on Tuesday. Extracting revenge on the Pirates should be easy, as they've had the worst offense in the National League for most of the season. Look for another gem from Westbrook as he takes cares of business in Pittsburgh.
