Guess what? Tony Stewart won another race Friday night

At this point, we're looking at breaking news alerts when Tony Stewart loses a race.

Stewart, the 2011 Sprint Cup champion who won five of the season's 10 Chase races, won Friday night's Fort Wayne Rumble. The car he was driving? A 20 year-old Volkswagen.

And after the race, Stewart got in a little trash talk at the fans. He's still got his mojo there too.

From the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel:

"Those of you who cheered, thank you," said Stewart after winning his record eighth event at the Rumble in Fort Wayne on Friday night at the Memorial Coliseum Expo Center. "Those of you who booed can kiss my ass."

Yes, it was the same old Stewart on Friday, who outdistanced the competition in the midget feature to earn the victory in a 20-year old Volkswagen-powered Munchkin that was built more than 20 years ago by Roanoke resident Mike Fedorcak. Since 2004, Stewart has stuck with the Munchkin at the Rumble and has won seven times.

"This car is 20 years old, but when it was built it was way, way ahead of its time," Stewart said. "This is just a car that's fun to drive, it's easy to work on and set up."

Stewart will be in action at Tulsa's Chili Bowl from January 10-14, where he's put together an all-star team lineup that includes himself and he's won the Golden Driller twice already. Will his incredible last half of 2011 carry over to 2012? We'll find out shortly.
