Schaub was hospitalized on Tuesday due to swelling in his knee, but the early reports have him listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. It's a tough matchup, even when you don't factor in the knee injury, but Schaub still remains as a viable option this week, just not a must-start.
While he's not having a stellar season, failing to match his breakout campaign of 2009-10, his 12 touchdown passes on the season have kept him among the top-half of the quarterbacks in the league. Still, with the injury and the matchup against the Jets defense you need to slot him down a few pegs this week. Quarterbacks like Shaun Hill and Josh Freeman look like better starts to me this week, even if Schaub is close to 100 percent.
