Report: Justin Allgaier finds ride for 2011

After it was announced that Verizon wouldn't be returning to Roger Penske's Nationwide team in 2011, Penske driver Justin Allgaier, the highest non-Cup driver in the Nationwide points standings, was free to look for a ride for next year.

And according to David Newton at ESPN.com, he's found one.

Justin Allgaier has reached an agreement to drive in the Nationwide Series for Turner Motorsports, according to a source close to the situation.

Turner Motorsports, formerly Braun Racing, has scheduled a news conference for Friday at Texas Motor Speedway to announce its 2011 driver, sponsor and manufacturer lineup.

Turner Motorsports is fielding five cars at Texas this weekend, four full-time cars and one part-time for James Buescher.

The organization fields Chevrolets in the Trucks Series and Toyotas in the Nationwide Series because of Braun's previous alliance with Toyota. Earlier reports have had Turner linked with Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series next year as well.

The team will have three Truck Series teams and three Nationwide teams in 2011.
