Top-seeded Caroline Wozniacki was down a set and a break, but rallied to defeat French Open champion Francesca Schiavone 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 to advance into the semifinals of the Australian Open Tuesday. Schiavone, who was coming off the longest Grand Slam match in women's Open Era history at four hours, 44 minutes, started the match strong but wilted in the second set. The sixth-seeded Italian dictated play in the first set, generating 14 winners to Wozniacki's one.
