DTotD: Spain's Victor Ruiz punches opponent for celebrating goal

In a U-21 match between Spain and Denmark on Tuesday, Victor Ruiz decided that Bille Nielsen's equalizer was worth a punch in the face. According to Nielsen, Ruiz had been taunting him throughout the match. So when Nielsen scored and celebrated right in front of Ruiz, the young Spaniard decided that the only reasonable thing to do was to punch him in the face.

Ruiz was sent off for that, leaving Spain to play the final 20 minutes of the match a man down. They still ended up winning 2-1, though, which kind of undermines the lesson Ruiz was supposed to learn from this.
