You already know what happened in 2010. Aaron Rodgers finished the year tied for first in fantasy points a year after destroying the field. Michael Vick re-emerged as the pre-eminent fantasy threat of our time, averaging nearly 30 points per game. Philip Rivers played without his top three receiving targets for long stretches of the fantasy season, yet still finished as a top-three quarterback. Peyton Manning seemed to have a down year, throwing 17 interceptions (and 11 in the course of three games), yet he tied Rodgers for top QB honors. Drew Brees also had a problem with picks but finished just behind the other top quarterbacks. Then there was this guy named Tom Brady who threw 36 TDs and just four interceptions.
It's quite possible that we see two quarterbacks or more drafted in the first round in nearly all 2011 drafts, something that seemed nearly impossible a few years ago. Smart owners will have one of the six guys listed above on their teams by the end of the third round, but for those that miss out, there are plenty quality options available.
