Kobe Bryant woke up Monday morning feeling a little off. Some may say that he was sick after his team's performance on Sunday against the Magic, while others will point to... the flu.As of early Monday afternoon, Bryant was listed as a game-time decision against the Bobcats. This doesn't bode well for his owners, especially on a short week. If Bryant can't go, expect Shannon Brown to get extra burn, providing value in points, steals and threes. If for some reason we get an early word that Bryant won't play, I certainly advocate picking up Brown.
Again, most teams play only twice this week with some only playing once. You need to maximize the amount of games played heading into the All-Star break. Though, this is Kobe Bryant we're talking about. I fully expect him to play through, but then again he could surprise us and sit.
On the other side of the court, D.J. Augustin is expected to miss Monday night's game with a wrist injury.
