Barca players celebrate Messi's Ballon d'Or by drinkin' on the plane

When all was said and done (or won, if you're feeling punny) at Monday's Ballon d'Or ceremony, all the Barcelona players involved flew back together and celebrated Lionel Messi's big win with some in-flight champagne.

Like a little kid who can't stand to wear a suit longer than he has to, Messi had bow tie off and his shirt and vest undone as he held his golden ball in one hand and a glass of bubbly in the other. Of course, he was also sitting next to his mom. Xavi called for him to give a toast and he graciously did so by toasting the teammates he beat to the award.

It was a lovely scene that showed there is no bitterness even though Messi's victory has been controversial in Spain. And then Pique spontaneously started to bleed.
