Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen was casually conducting what was probably his billionth interview where he was being asked what it's like to play football or some other mind-numbing questions when the inanimate objects around him decided to spice things about and collapse on his head. Nelsen laughed off the pain and surprise as he checked his head for blood, clearly a bit shaken up. But this could be the start of a fantastic new trend in interviews -- the unexpected collapse of the background onto the head of the interview subject.
Who wouldn't watch softball questions being gently tossed as footballers and managers just for the moment when everything around them suddenly falls on top of them? Now that's television.
