Fantasy Stream Team: Choice of Three

Filed under:

Streamer Jhoulys Chacin surrendered seven runs in five innings, but sloppy play led to just two of those runs being earned and counting against Chacin's ERA. Even though the Stream Team caught that break, we still weren't able to pick up a win, meaning we remain stuck on 69 wins for the season. Madison Bumgarner is the next pitcher to shoot for the 70th win, and he may have what it takes to deliver; after all, Bumgarner is the guy that gave us our 69th win in the first place.

Most of our Friday streaming options haven't been pitching well, but we can narrow our choice down to three players. Rick Porcello has recorded wins in five of his last six starts, allowing one walks or less in each. His road ERA is over 6.00, and he heads to Baltimore on Friday.

Fausto Carmona has surrendered two runs or less in each of his last five starts, but he has just one win in his last ten games. A low K:BB rate makes me hesitant to use him on the road against the White Sox, and he has a 7:13 K:BB ratio in U.S. Celluar in his career.
