Everyone is apparently excited about Terrence Williams' return from the D-League. In each of the 765 fantasy hoops leagues I'm in Williams has already been picked up off the waivers, despite his brief stint in the NBDL.To be honest, I'm not sure what all the excitement is about.
Williams has been a disappointment this season, and the worst part of it all is that head coach Avery Johnson isn't one to sit back and let players dictate their own playing time. Just ask Troy Murphy.
The other thing is that with Damion James actually playing hard-nosed basketball I can see Johnson rewarding him with minutes. Minutes that would normally go to Williams.
While I see the value in T-Will when he's out on the court, I'm not one to rush to the wires to pick him up when he's yet to earn his spot in the rotation. And with Johnson calling the shots, he'll have to earn his minutes. They won't be handed to him. I say stay away for now, but if you're able to pick-and-hold him, I see no harm.
