Right now is not an ideal time to be a young superstar guard in the NBA. Wednesday night's action was highlighted by injuries to three young guards, who also happen to be cornerstone fantasy ballers.John Wall continues to be hampered by a left foot injury. He has already missed seven games on the season and is doubtful for this weekend's action. This is terrible news, especially considering how fragile both his feet have been so early on in his career. Kirk Hinrich once again becomes a nice flier while Wall is out.
Stephen Curry is also injured, having sprained his ankle on Wednesday night. He's been struggling with ankle sprains all season long, and the early reports have Curry missing "several" games. Who knows what that means, but right now it's probably for the best. He needs to heal his ankles, and quick.
Tyreke Evans is the other young superstar struggling with an injury. Evans is scheduled to have an MRI on his foot which has been bothering him for most of the season. We've heard much speculation, with the possibility of it being plantar fasciitis. If that's the case, expect Evans to be shelved as well. It's time once again to turn to Beno Udrih!
